2017 MTV VMAs Performances: Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Lil’ Uzi Vert & More

The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards rolled into California on Sunday night (Aug. 27), taking over The Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles. Hosted by Katy Perry, this year’s VMAs kicked off with a fiery bang as hometown hero Kendrick Lamar opened the show. Dressed in all-red, Kung Fu Kenny delivered a set filled with flames, and climbing ninjas as her performed the songs “DNA.” and “HUMBLE.” The appearance started off a magical night for the TDE MC, who was nominated for 8 VMAs including “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year,” and “Best Hip-Hop.”

Artists like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran and Lil’ Uzi Vert, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony and GUcci Mane, Lorde, Logic with Khalid and Alessia Cara, Cardi B and Thirty Seconds to Mars with Travi$ Scott all are set to perform at the 2017 VMAs.
