2017 MTV VMAs Winners: Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Kanye West (Full List)

The 2017 MTV VMAs belong to Kendrick Lamar. Not only did Kung Fu Kenny open the show with a blazing set, the Compton rapper took home the most awards. Lamar, who was nominated for 8 VMAs, walked away with six victories including “Video of the Year” for “HUMBLE.” The TDE MC also won “Best Hip-Hop Video” and “Best Cinematography” for “HUMBLE.” Ed Sheeran got a moonman for “Artist of the Year,” the first time male and female musicians went head-to-head in that category. Khalid won “Best New Artist,” while Lil’ Uzi Vert’s “XO TOUR Llif3″ got him “Song of the Summer.”

Other winners on Sunday night included Kanye West and Teyana Taylor (Best Choreography), Gucci Mane (Best Pop) and Young Thug (Best Editing). P!nk accepted the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, while the mother of Charlottesville victim Heather Heyer declared all six nominees for “Best Fight Against the System” winners in an emotional moment.

Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travi$ Scott, KYLE, Logic with Alessia Cara and Khalid all performed at the 2017 VMAs hosted by Katy Perry.
