Beyoncé, Adele, Ariana Grande & Drake Lead MTV VMAs Nomimations

Beyonce is up for a whopping 11 VMAs.

Beyoncé sits pretty at the top, as the music icon leads the nominees for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Queen Bey’s latest album LEMONADE has earned the singer 11 nominations including “Video of the Year,” “Best Female Video,” “Best Collaboration,” and “Best Pop Video.” Adele received eight nominations, while Ariana Grande and Drake follow behind with five and four nods respectively.

Beyoncé’s “Formation” will go head-to-head with Kanye West’s controversial “Famous,” Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” and Adele’s “Hello” for “Video of the Year.” Drake, 2 Chainz, and Chance the Rapper battle for “Best Hip-Hop Video,” while Bryson Tiller and Desiigner get nods for “Best New Artist.”

Rihanna, The Weeknd, Calvin Harris, Alessia Cara, and Mike Posner also are up for a Moonman, as the 2016 MTV VMAs take place Sunday, Aug. 28 at 9 p.m EST live from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
