Big Sean’s is getting set to drop his fourth solo LP I Decided on Feb. 3 via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Records. Leading up to its release, the Detroit rapper has put out the singles “Bounce Back” and “Moves,” plus the track “Living Single” featuring Chance the Rapper and Jeremih. With two weeks to go until the album hits stores, Big Sean is now in full promo mode. Before hitting Saturday Night Live this weekend for the first-time ever, Sean Don sat down with Zane Lowe for an exclusive one-on-one interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1.

During their conversation Big Sean discussed selling his Los Angeles home which is dear to him because of its studio he built in there where he records everything. The 28-year-old also touches on playing I Decided for the likes of Rick Rubin, Kanye West and André 3000, potentially having work with the OutKast MC for a later project, the depressive state he was in recording Dark Sky Paradise, his creative process, Kanye’s influence on the new project, and the frustration label politics surrounding why “No More Interviews” and other records won’t appear on I Decided.

Sean also revealed some details about the new album including a collaboration with fellow Motor City native Eminem (“No More Favors”), The-Dream (“Sunday Morning Jetpack”) and production by DJ Mustard, Metro Boomin, DJ Dahi, and Amir Johnson.
