Alexander Lewis – Wassup ft. MadeinTYO & S’natra

Listen to Alexander Lewi’ new single  “Wassap” featuring MadeinTYO & S’natra.

“Wassap” is an interesting and cohesive combination between producer and featured artists that genuinely shows the depth of Lewis’ production capabilities. MadeinTYO brings the heat, being one of the most in-demand names in modern hip-hop while the NYC-born and raised lyricist S’natra brings an old-school, gritty vibe to the track.

Steven Stone – Black America

Not much is known about Steven Stone only that he is;

“Just giving the perspective of a kid living in the southside of TAMPA Florida, working a deadbeat typical 9 to 5 job. Personally, I’m just rapping to add to my 401k and pension plan, oh yeah and by the way, I like to make words come together if you didn’t know by now.”

Jessie Reyez – ‘Figures, A Reprise’ with Daniel Caesar

Jessie Reyez enlisted fellow Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar on the new remix of her breakthrough hit “Figures“. The duo debuted this version on their emotional live performance at the 2018 JUNO Awards last weekend.

Taken from Reyez EP Kiddo, “Figures” – with its powerful, raw honesty – brought singer to the spotlight and lifted up her career back in 2016. Her sharp, somewhat squeaky vocals isn’t for everyone’s ears… but now, Caesar’s delicateness equilibrates the sound and brings the track closer to perfection.

Both of the artists were honored at the ceremony – Reyez walked away with Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Caesar with R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for his debut album Freudian.

Listen to “Figures, a Reprise” studio recording and continue with the live rendition from JUNOs:

Dave Fields – Waste Some Time

“Waste Some Time” is a song of self-reflection, and of confliction. Fields’ goes back and forth asking if a relationship has all been a waste of time, while simultaneously suggesting that the two should waste some time together.

Stay on the look out as the music video is scheduled for release soon.
