After previously teaming up on “One Reason (Flex)” and “Spare Time,” Eric Bellinger and Wale reunite on “Treat Yourself,” the latest single from the Compton crooner’s upcoming project Eric B. For President: Term 2. The breezy collaboration is all about splashing the cash on yourself, but that doesn’t mean Wale has forgotten about his woman. “Gotta treat yourself, but I’ma treat you better / If I like you, shawty, I’ma treat you wetter,” he raps.
“‘Treat Yourself’ is easily one of my favorite joints on the project,” Eric says. “I love all of the songs but this one is special to me because it’s the first time I’m actually being kind of braggadocios on a record. Over the years I’ve had some success and I tend to keep quiet about my personal life especially in the department of material things. I thought it was time to let people know what time it is.”
