Fabolous & Ashanti Connect on the remix to “Ashanti.”
Fabolous’ last project, Summertime Shootout 2: The Level Up, came out back in 2016. Included on the mixtape was a song called “Ashanti,” the Mark Henry-produced record that samples two of Ashanti’s hit songs, “Foolish” and “ Rock wit U (Awww Baby).” Two years later, Loso grabs the R&B songstress for the official remix and accompanying video. Directed by Gerard Victor, the two veterans wine and dine each other while posing in high-priced minks.
The video also opens up with a preview of Fab’s upcoming new single “Oh Yea,” featuring the always-in-demand Ty Dolla $ign. Watch below.
