After getting straight raunchy with 2 Chainz on “5 Minutes,” K Camp trades puts his club-leaning sensibilities to the left for some straight-up rapping on “6pm On Lyric.”

Freestyling over the instrumental of Drake’s “4PM In Calabasas,” he uses the four-minute track to announce that he will release a new EP — the appropriately-titled Lyric Ave — in the near future. He actually does does a good job, displaying a range not many have seen before.
