Seun has now been at the helm of Egypt 80 for more than twenty years, having worked with the likes of Brian Eno & John Reynolds, the band’s most recent album, A Long Way To The Beginning, was produced by Grammy-winning jazz renaissance man Robert Glasper and is described by Kuti as “a soundtrack for the mindset of most young people in Africa today”.
