Lupe Fiasco Defeats The World’s Top Ranked Street Fighter Pro

Who knew Lupe Fiasco was really good at Street Fighter.

 

Lupe Fiasco has made no secret of his love of the video game “Street Fighter.” And as it turns out, he’s really fucking good.

Over the weekend, Lupe went head-to-head in a Street Fighter matchup against Daigo, a Japanese pro who is nothing short of a legend in Street Fighter circles. Daigo selected to play as Ryu and Lupe chose Ken.

The match starts at 4:59. Head to 17:50 to see Lupe’s decisive KO and his ensuing celebration. It took him a while to realize he’d won. Some people think it was a fix, but it’s pretty obvious when he figures it out… this was probably one of the best days of his life.
