Meek Mill Talks Safaree Incident, Drake, ‘Wins and Losses,’ JAY-Z Album & More

The Philly MC stopped by HOT 97’s Ebro in the Morning to promote his third studio LP on Wednesday. The Dreamchasers spitter discussed Remy Ma’s “shETHER” diss track aimed at Nicki Minaj, growing up after his relationship with Minaj, and the incident with Safaree Samuels during BET Awards weekend.

Meek also touched on his much-publicized beef with Drake, his mind state at the time, and if he could ever sit down with Drizzy for a conversation. “Eventually, one day…it’ll come naturally. A lot of people try to force that on me,” says the MMG rapper when posed the question.

During the 36-minute conversation the now 30-year-old spoke on maturing, social records like “YBA,” being a voice to the struggles in America, DJ Mustard orchestrating his single “Whatever You Need,” laying off the stunting and showing more balance on Instagram, and JAY-Z’s new album 4:44.
