Its scary enough having several aliases like Karma does, if you’re brave enough to call yourself “Satellite Town’s Barack Obama” and “Half man Half Rapper” there is a certain bar you set for yourself, which is significantly higher than that which rappers fresh on the scene set for themselves, and there is also the expectations of eager listeners. Thankfully, I think this 6 feet tall rapper has gone to school on meeting expectations.
Karma, whose real name is Olumide Harding is a graduate with a physics degree. He started rapping at a young age. Now under the prestigious tutelage of Naija’s number 1 Ninja Sound Sultan, this new track is a work of art. Along side incredible vocals from Sean, Karma shows why he can comfortably bear the alias “Satellite Town Barack Obama”. Its uncanny how he flows to the beat of the song, and also features Sound Sultan who renders a verse showing why he’s survived in the music industry 12 years on. This is a well written song that’s clearly a statement of intent.
