Listen to KIIRA’s new release “Last Time.”
KIIRA is thrilled to share her debut single “last Time (feat. Noah North)” today! KIIRA’s slick and captivating vocals transform the future bass production into a brooding pop gem. Co-written with Naomi Wild, songwriter and touring vocalist for ODESZA, “Last Time” is about protecting one’s heart and finding redemption in a tumultuous relationship. The track also features a stand out verse from up and coming Austin, TX rapper Noah North, who was recently seen supporting Travis Scott on tour.
The single was premiered with support from CelebMix on Friday, September 29th. Speaking on her debut single, KIIRA said, “This song means so much to me because of how I relate with it on a personal level. I recorded it in July and was going through some things, just trying to figure myself out and also cute ties with epople who were bringing negative energy around. The title came from the theme of it’s the last time that I will let people take advantage of me, hurt and betray my trust.”
Born in Paris, raised in Zurich, KIIRA is a 20 year old Swiss-American songwriter and vocalist. She recently connected with three time Grammy winner super-producer Justin Trugman (Eminem, Wu-Tang, Ice Cube) for what was supposed to be a brief studio project; but, the duo quickly found that their styles and musical direction perfectly complimented one another and the rest is history. Looking to dominate the space between future bass and alt-pop, “Last Time” proves that these two are clearly onto something. This is only the beginning for KIIRA and “Last Time” makes it obvious she’s one to watch.
