Mario Sterling – Jameson

Jameson”, written by Mario Sterling and produced by Grammy Nominated producer Brook D’leau (Miguel, The Roots).

Connor Evans – Space

On his new single ” Space “, Connor Evans sets out to remind fans and media alike that he’s an MC first as he spits nothing but quotables over this early Fall banger.

Sara Phillips – Rich and Famous

Following up the success of “House On Fire,” Sara is back with the effortlessly cool dark pop single “Rich and Famous.” With a new look, and a new sound, Montreal native does not disappoint.

Fanny Andersen – Not A Toy

Pop with attitude isn’t hard to find these days, but pop with honesty and attitude is like gold dust. Today rising Norwegian talent Fanny Andersen releases ‘Not A Toy’, her first single on new Norwegian label CoCo&Co. Working with renowned female producer Kito (Diplo, Skream), ‘Not A Toy’ is an anthem about “players”. Fanny told The Fader: “Not A Toy is about a relationship that isn’t working – where the guy isn’t treating the girl right. So many of my friends, and myself, have been in relationships like this, and I just felt like I’ve had enough!” Andersen is vulnerable in her lyrics and an artist of contrast and layers; being honest about mental health and sexuality but writing completely addictive, glorious pop songs.

Based in Oslo and coming not from a musical family, but one where her mother was an actress and stand-up comic, the young Andersen seemed set for the stage after playing Annie in a school production, and making the teacher (who hated her) cry. ‘Not A Toy’ is a first indicator of Fanny’s ruthless honesty and solid notion to female comradery, layered over complex pop production, with collaborations to come from the likes of Danny L Harle. Norway has produced another pop force in waiting.

Rossylo – Long Term

21 year old Bay Area singer/songwriter/producer Rossylo paints a picture of what it’s like to be the type of lover that you want to keep forever–not just for one moment. This self-produced R&B jam is upbeat, but with a calm and sexy ride to it, balancing out tension, climax, and release. Sprinkled with subtly layered vocals and glowing falsettos throughout, this track is all for the passion.
