Prodigy, one-half of the legendary Mobb Deep, has passed away. He was 42-years-old. The tragic news was broken by Nas, who wrote “🙏🏾 QB RIP King P” on Instagram. Mobb Deep’s publicist later confirmed his passing to XXL, revealing that Prodigy had “some sort of health crisis” two days ago. It’s unclear whether this was related to P’s long-running battle with sickle cell disease.
