Watch Rapsody’s new video for “Power” featuring Kendrick Lamar & Lance Skiiiwalker.
Taken from her excellent new album Laila’s Wisdom, Rapsody teams up with director Cam Be to give “Power” a visual makeover. Unfortunately, Kendrick Lamar doesn’t make a cameo, but the clip does feature Lance Skiiiwalker and fellow Jamla signee GQ, who pops up to perform his verse from “Ridin.” The video closes out with some powerful words from Rapsody’s producer and mentor, 9th Wonder: “Power begins from within. Power is in all of us. Power lies within you. Power is here in North Carolina. Welcome to JamRoc.”
