Toronto-based Robotaki (aka Preston Chin) is gearing up for his Science EP (April 13th) and has decided to unveil “Butterscotch” today.
The soulful, R&B vibes are a welcome change from the electronic elements that brought him to the spotlight. While I might be biased, there’s no other way to say it other than Preston is special. This is a man that was hand-selected by Porter Robinson and Madeon to tour with them for their 36-stop stadium tour, earned a global viral #1 on Spotify with his “Ghostboy” release, sold-out both LA (El Rey) and NYC (Music Hall of Williamsburg) shows in one day, and less than two weeks respectively, and now has well over 10 million plays on all platforms. He’s been featured on Billboard, Huffington Post, Fader, Consequence of Sound, and been commissioned for official remixes by The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, Jai Wolf, and more.
