Snoop Dogg – Neva Left (Album)

Snoop Dogg is back like he “Neva Left”

April 4th marked Snoop Dogg‘s 25th year in music, as he would make his debut alongside Dr. Dre on “Deep Cover.” Since then, he’s released 14 albums, ranging from classic G-Funk (Doggystyle) to Southern bounce (Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told), reggae (Reincarnated) and everything in between.

Following the “disco funk” of his and Pharrell‘s BUSH project, and his back-to-basics release COOLAID in 2016, Snoop has returned with Neva Left.

With a throwback-inspired album cover (by veteran photographer Chi Modu, who shot him back in 1992), Neva Left features a myriad of artists from the past and present: B-Real, Method Man and Redman appear on “Mount Kushmore,” Stresmatic of The Federation assists on “Swivel,” plus Too $hort, Nef The Pharaoh, Wiz Khalifa, and even his Eastsidaz brother-in-rhyme Tray Deee and the late Teena Marie.
