Austin’s own, Deezie Brown delivers a very edgy, dark and rebellious depiction of Alternative Rap and Electronic Punk. Deezie has taken his imagination and real life experiences and blended the two. His love for music started back when his mother bought him a Bone Thugs-N-Harmony cassette tape when “Crossroads” had just dropped. At that time, everyone was recording over old tapes on their cassette players.

Using his mix of childhood memories and taste in edgy, sinister production, he is working on the release of his debut album, JUDITH. Deezie Brown chooses to go down a path of hip-hop rebellion. Inspired by Kanye’s My Beatutiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Bon Iver’s experimental sound, he uses a mix of sinful instrumentals and heavy beats to provide a sound to expand his listener’s thoughts and emotions.
The album highlights the themes of channeling one’s creativity, the bleak underbelly of the music industry, and the current generation’s difficulty accepting love.
JUDITH is set to be released mid-2017.
