2 Chainz Talks Nicki Minaj vs. Remy Ma, Pink Trap House, Kanye West & New Album on ‘The Breakfast Club.’
With his new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music now out in-stores, 2 Chainz continued his promo run with a visit to The Breakfast Club. Sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, the Atlanta rapper spoke on the album marketing with his pink trap house that turned into a social media phenomenon. 2 Chainz touched on being an underrated lyricist, rumors of a potential Eminem collaboration, wanting a JAY-Z verse, why Ludacris still owes him $15,000, and his recent family gathering with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on July 4th.
2 Chainz also opened up on “Realize,” a song with Nicki Minaj off the album. Minaj, of course, threw shots at Remy Ma towards the end of her verse. The ATLien spoke on the controversy, revealing he had a conversation with Remy backstage at HOT 97 Summer Jam in June, where Remy expressed she wasn’t impressed with the song coming out. Tity Boi also discussed coming up with the title Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, and working with Q-Tip on his next album.
