Beyoncé reigned supreme at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (Aug. 28). Arriving with daughter Blue Ivy and the mothers of Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Oscar Grant, and Trayvon Martin on the red carpet, all eyes were on Queen Bey as she entered Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The iconic performer was nominated for 11 VMAs heading into the award show, and left with 8. It was a perfect night for Queen Bey, who delivered one of the night’s memorable moments with a 16-minute medley set of her visual album LEMONADE.
