21 Savage is back with a new record, “100.”
After sufficiently killing it and rising up the ranks in the 2016, 21 Savage is poised to have an even bigger 2017. The Atlanta rapper had one of the quickest come-ups in recent history, not lacking in co-signing star power, from his idol Gucci Mane, to producer MVP Metro Boomin, to Drake and beyond.
Since releasing his joint mixtape with Metro, Savage Mode, 21 has been feature mode (ha). So for the past few months, that’s mainly how we’ve heard from him– through his guest verses. Today though, we finally get a new solo cut from the Slaughter Gang representative. The rapper does his typical sleuth-rapping over dripping trap production, which has a light bounce to it and flares of piano keys.
Take a listen. Will we see a debut album from 21 in 2017? For now, you can catch him on the “HiHorse’d” tour with Young Thug.
