21 Savage Makes Musical Debut on Saturday Night Live

On Saturday (Feb. 24), 21 Savage took to the stage of Saturday Night Live for his musical debut, delivering captivating performances that showcased his versatility and artistry.

Introduced by host Shane Gillis, the UK-born, Atlanta-based rapper performed “Redrum” alongside a violinist, as well as a pair of ballerinas and back-up singers. The live rendition captivated audiences with its unique blend of trap beats and classical elements, highlighting 21 Savage’s ability to push boundaries and defy genre conventions.

Later in the evening, 21 Savage returned to the stage with a live band for a powerful performance of “Should’ve Wore A Bonnet,” featuring Brent Faiyaz. Both “Redrum” and “Should’ve Wore A Bonnet” are featured on 21 Savage’s critically acclaimed album, American Dream, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts last month. The album boasts a star-studded lineup of collaborators, including Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, Doja Cat, Lil Durk, and Mariah The Scientist, solidifying 21 Savage’s status as one of hip-hop’s most influential voices.
