There’s finally some concrete news in the murder investigation connected to Pop Smoke’s death.

Five people have been arrested in the case after the LAPD served multiple search warrants around Los Angeles early Thursday morning, reports TMZ. 3 adults and 2 juveniles have been reportedly arrested but the exact charges have not been revealed yet.

Pop Smoke was shot and killed by 4 masked gunmen in February in what appeared to be a home invasion robbery at a Spanish-style rented house in the Hollywood Hills. The rapper had posted about a gift bag he had received, in which the address of the Hollywood Hills home was clearly visible. Authorities had been looking at that angle carefully.

Last week, his first posthumous album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon was released which has been very well received by fans. It is currently projected to move 225k copies in the first week.
