Jeweler Claims He Was Pistol-Whipped By 50 Cent’s Crew & Robbed Of 250K
50 Cent and his entourage are in the middle of a criminal investigation after a jeweler claimed he got robbed of expensive watch and chain worth a quarter million dollars by the rapper and his goons.
Robert Martin, owner of LAX Jewelry Co., traveled to Las Vegas the same weekend Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao got in the ring together, TMZ reports. He says he met Curtis at Drai’s nightclub – the same place where the artist performed in exchange for $500,000 – showed him the accessories and were ready to negotiate a price.
Then the jeweler claims 50 invited him to see Floyd Mayweather’s gym following the show and talk about the watch and chain. Of course, he accepted, but when they arrived at the gym two of Fiddy’s bodyguards pistol whipped him and ran away with the jewelry, Martin claims.
50 Cent’s camp addressed the story as his attorney Scott Leemon explained, “On behalf of 50, I can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these baseless and false allegations.”
Knowing Fiddy, he would never risk his name, career and brand for some piece of jewelry. Plus, he just landed on Forbes’ Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists 2015 list with $155 million, so money are definitely not an issue for him. Martin should have known these facts better.
