50 Cent has reached a plea deal in his recent domestic violence case.
As reported by the insurmountable TMZ, it seems 50 Cent won’t be serving jail time for supposedly kicking the mother of an alleged child of his (Daphne Joy) and destroying some of her property.
Fif was initially charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism for allegedly causing $7,100 in damage. According to his attorney, the rapper negotiated a deal with prosecutors to have the domestic violence charge dropped as long as he pled no contest to one count of misdemeanor vandalism. He did so, and was sentenced to three years probation and 30 days of community service. He must also pay $7,100 in restitution to Joy and attend counselling sessions.
The restraining order against 50 remains, though – he’s obligated to stay away from both Joy and guns for the time being.
That’s all.
