6ix9ine’s recently-fired manager Shottie (real name Kifano Jordan) and two TreyWay associates, Crippy (real name Faheem Walter) and Ish (real name Jensel Butler), are also in custody. All four men face racketeering and firearms charges.
According to TMZ, the investigation was a joint effort between the NYPD, the ATF and Homeland Security. An arraignment is scheduled for later today in Manhattan.
The specific nature of the charges is unclear, but the arrest will more than likely violate the terms of 6ix9ine’s probation in his well-documented child sex case (just last month, he got off with four years’ probation for the use of a minor in a sexual performance).
As if 6ix9ine’s short-lived career hasn’t already been fuelled by controversy, his new album Dummy Boycoincidentally drops this Friday (Nov. 23) with guest appearances from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Gunna and Bobby Shmurda.
