A$AP Rocky shares his new single, “Same Problems?”

The Harlemite describes life’s challenges and honours hip hop’s fallen troops with Lil Yachty’s ad-libs.

“Niggas dying every other night / Niggas sobbing, that’s life,” Rocky raps. “Lying to my face tryna pretend it’s all okay / No, I’m not alright.”

His December Amazon Music Live premiere, “Same Problems?” is off his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb. His Need For Speed Unbound track “Shittin Me” precedes it.

Tonight, fans can hear the studio version of the single that honours the dead warriors. Lil Yachty, who worked with Rocky on “T.D.” and “Bachelor,” sings background.

Rocky tells Zane Lowe on Apple Music his new record is finished. “It’s coming. Absolutely. Yes. Just completing it. He said it’s coming.

“We all need time to mature. Artists should not release songs without fuel or topic matter. I sometimes need to live to provide you the correct topic matter to explain my experiences. The new content is me being vulnerable, unfiltered, and at my stage. My friends, younger kids, older pets, and my age shape my view. We bring new s**t. I dream about style, creativity, and inspiration. My worldview has matured. It’s like excellent wine, and I’m becoming more conscious of things I neglected, indifferent to, and ignorant of. More aware. I saw it or experienced it. I consider albumizing. I always try. Freer music creating. I try to keep on topic.”

New song below. Great, mellow song. Don’t Be Dumb should release shortly.
