South London rapper Adian Coker drops off his new EP – “Buena Vistas.”
Adian has been trailblazing a path since the release of his 2015 debut EP “Time Out Of Mind”- which tastemakers praised for its lyrical depth, original production and creative visuals.
His unique style of feel good Hip Hop and Pop sensibilities started gathering a broader and more international appeal last year while releasing second EP “Connect” – with Parisian tastemaker label Kitsuné co-signing his track ‘Blue Collar.
Now fresh from his performance at Live at Leeds and his very own sold out headline show in Paris, Adian is back with a new EP “Buena Vistas” which explores the different aspects of life from love to escapism and revealing his penchant for upbeat melodies.
The EP kicks off with 24 Carat, an exploration of love that bounces to a compelling laidback beat. Striving for your dreams and working for what you want is a presiding theme for the EP, especially prevalent on Overtime and For Richer For Poorer. On the more personal side, X’s is an “introspective song about the path I’ve chosen and my stand in my choice” and on I Am What I Am he explores his psyche further: “This is about the many obstacles that life has presented, determination, my hopes and fears; all of which made me the person that I am today.” The EP ends with the powerful “Anywhere” his own signature sound of Hip Pop, the perfect soundtrack for Summer.
