On his eighth studio album, Almost Healed, Lil Durk continues to heal from the wounds of his past.
The project is propelled by the singles “All My Life” featuring J.Cole, “Pelle Coat,” and the album’s opener, “Therapy Session,” a spoof told by Alicia Keys. The album clocks in at a total of 21 tracks.
Produced by Chopsquad DJ, Southside, Zaytoven, Wheezy, Metro Boomin, Alicia Keys, ATL Jacob, Dr. Luke, and others, the album also has the tunes “Put Em On Ice,” “You Got Em,” and “Moment Of Truth.”
On “Never Imagined,” Future appears as a special guest, while on “Grandson,” Kodak Black makes an appearance. Juice WRLD appears on one track (“Cross The Globe) after his untimely death, and the album also has work from Morgan Wallen, Chief Wuk, and Rob49.
Following up on last year’s 7220 record, Almost Healed is his first release since the complications with Only The Family and Loyal Bros 2. Since then, he’s been involved with a wide variety of projects, from Trippie Redd and Don Toliver to Swizz Beatz and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on “Say Less.”
