Celebrating her birthday in grand style, Nicki Minaj finally delivers her fifth studio album, “Pink Friday 2,” marking the second installment of her iconic Pink Friday album series.
With a generous tracklist of 22 songs, Pink Friday 2 features a powerhouse lineup, including previously released singles like “Super Freaky Girl,” “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” and “Last Time I Saw You.” Nicki Minaj showcases her lyrical prowess on standout tracks such as “Are You Gone Already,” “Barbie Dangerous,” “Beep Beep,” “Pink Birthday,” and “Just The Memories.”
The album boasts an array of collaborations with industry heavyweights, from Lil Wayne on “RNB” to Future on “Nicki Hendrix.” Nicki reunites with Drake on “Needle,” teams up with J.Cole on “Let Me Calm Down,” and joins forces with Lil Uzi Vert on “Everybody.” Additional features include Tate Kobang, Lourdiz, Skillibeng, Skeng, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
“Pink Friday 2” is a long-awaited follow-up to Nicki Minaj’s debut album, “Pink Friday,” released in 2010, and its deluxe version, “Pink Friday…Roman Reloaded,” from 2012. This release marks Nicki’s first solo album in over five years, following the success of “Queen” in 2018.
