After teasing us with several tracks from the tape in recent times, Skengdo and AM have finally gifted us with their brand-new project, Back Like We Never Left.
With the cover art drawing inspiration from the poster of the classic film Boyz N The Hood, the new mixtape from the duo follows the gritty theme by beginning with “Intro” – an upbeat drill vibe detailing life on the roads – which sets the tone for the rest of the project.
Containing seventeen tracks, the project is filled with greazy offering such as “Wizards of Waverley Place” and their previously released joint “Crash x GBG” featuring M24 and Stickz. However, we do see Skengdo and AM switch it up on the softer track “Trust Issues 2.0” and the high-spirited riddim “Tugg”.
The project contains a number of other big collaborations too, as we see appearances from the likes of Sneakbo, Grizzy, BT and loads more. Stream and check out the visual for “Intro” below.
