Amaarae, a musician originally from Ghana who now resides in the United States, has just released her sophomore album, Fountain Baby. She recently appeared on KAYTRAMINE and Janelle Monáe’s The Age of Pleasure, where she stole the show.
“So thankful for everyone who had a part to play in making this a reality,” Amaarae said of the release. To paraphrase: “It took a village.”
The album has 14 songs, the most popular of which are “Co-Star,” “Reckless & Sweet,” and “Wasted Eyes.” Along with the release, Amaarae has also released a music video to accompany the latter song.
