At the Berlin Film Festival on Monday, Submarine Entertainment and ByStorm Film announced work is underway on an official documentary on Biggie tentatively titled Notorious B.I.G.: One More Chance. The film will be directed by The Malloys (The White Stripes: Under Great White Northern Lights) and made in collaboration with Biggie’s estate and his mother, Voletta Wallace, which means it’ll have access to all of his original music.

According to Variety, One More Chance will focus on the impact of Biggie’s work around the world. “It brings so much joy to my heart that my son Christopher’s music has made such an impact on the music community and his stories have positively inspired so many young men and women over the years, and still influencing the youth all over the world today,” Voletta Wallace said.

With 2017 marking 20 years since Biggie’s death, stay tuned for a posthumous collaborative album with Faith Evans, as well as a movie starring Johnny Depp.
