From Philadelphia to Lagos, Nigeria, the blessings keep falling for the bright emerging sensations Fridayy & Asake on the remix to “Blessings.”
Following his huge GRAMMY nominations, including one for Song Of The Year, Fridayy returns with the remix of his track, “Blessings,” starring breakout Afrobeats Nigerian musician, Asake. The song’s original version was released in October as part of Fridayy’s debut EP, Lost In Melody.
Fridayy, the Philadelphia native, takes a trip down memory lane, mentioning how far he has gone in the music industry and how he has God to thank for it all. Asake easily adds a worldwide flair to the remix, speaking his line in Yoruba, his home language; he expresses how he is not flawless but is glad that God still allows him to shine.
