South Carolina-born songstress Asiahn is back with another EP that doubles as her Motown debut entitled ‘The Interlude’.
Touching down with The Interlude, Asiahn opts to bring listeners on a journey through self-discovery and growth that occurs after a relationship’s conclusion. Clocking in at just 12 minutes, the project’s five songs presents a lone feature from Grandmaster Vic.
Speaking about the project, Asiahn stressed that it was important that she “not only sing about love.” “There’s more to life than just being in a relationship and falling in and out of love with others, we also have to fall in love with ourselves and discover what we like and don’t like, explore our sexuality, get drunk and have fun! We have to live!”
