Watch Drake & The Weeknd In Baka’s “Live Up To My Name” Video
Followers of Drake have heard the name Baka Not Nice before. Referenced in the Canadian superstar’s music various times, Baka name is mentioned on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late‘s “Know Yourself” and his voice is heard on the outro to Nothing Was The Same‘s “From Time.” After dealing with legal issues and jail time over the past decade, Baka shifted his focus to the studio as a solo artist in 2016. This year, Baka’s energetic ad-libs can be heard on Drake’s More Life standout “Gyalchester,” and the pair delivered that unforgettable performance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
At the top of the month Baka Not Nice released his auto-tuned laced single “Live Up to My Name,” a boastful record revolved around the stripes he has earned in the streets of Toronto. The OVO crew member now drops a music video, that follows the rapper from L.A to The 6. Drake, The Weeknd, Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee and XO artist NAV all make cameos in “Live Up to My Name,” which can be watched below.
