Big Sean has been enjoying road, hitting city-to-city across North America on his “I Decided” North American tour with MadeinTYO. The G.O.O.D. Music MC continues to promote his latest No. 1 album, by releasing a music video for “Light” featuring Jeremih. Directed by Lawrence Lamont, the cinematic clip finds Big Sean touching on the subject of young innocent live affected by violence. Gang wars and police brutality are some of the scenarios the Detroit native brings to light in the VEVO premiere.
“It’s disheartening sometimes to see that not much has changed when it comes to hate, police brutality n just overall people losing their lives too early,” says Big Sean in a message posted on Instagram, speaking about the video’s theme. “But when I wrote this song, it was to reassure myself that no matter what happens, they can’t take away our Soul, our confidence, our ideas, n all that makes us shine.”
