Birdman’s New Interview with Angie Martinez.

After a brief and heated “interview” with The Breakfast Club, Birdman was cool and calm in a sit down with Angie Martinez that aired on Friday afternoon (Apr. 22). During the 39-minute discussion, the Cash Money CEO opens on his personal life, touching on growing up as a child, being an orphan, the streets and Louis Farrakhan serving as mentors, his new roster of artists, the upcoming Rich Gang compilation LP and his last solo album Ms. Gladys, being a multi-millionaire at the age of 18, working on a Cash Money biopic, fatherhood, supporting Mannie Fresh’s forthcoming Hot Boys project, and more.

It’s kosher…we cool that my son, we going always be cool. I love him to death, that’ll never change,” said Birdman when speaking on Lil’ Wayne. The New Orleans native also touched on not feeling comfortable in New York because of their gun laws, love of firearms, and currently listening to Rihanna, 50 Cent, Maino and Uncle Murda lately.
