Back in April, Lil Wayne’s tour bus got shot at in Atlanta. The alleged shooter, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, also known as Peewee Roscoe, ultimately turned himself in and was indicted on six charges – aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct, and discharging a weapon near the street.
An additional indictment filed in Cobb County, GA last month was revealed today. It alleges that there was a conspiracy when Lil Wayne’s vehicle got shot up and Birdman and Young Thug were involved. WSBTV reporter Mike Petchenik broke news of the indictment which points out that all Thug, Baby and the incarcerated suspect are members of the Blood Gang and were involved in a RICO conspiracy.
Also, Petchenik reports prosecutors are referring to Thugga’s “Halftime” music video as evidence, claiming that in the visuals Winfrey holds an assault rifle while the song itself includes mention of Lil Wayne’s name. Further, the indictment claims Winfrey “carried out” Thug’s threat with the violence.
In related news, yesterday Thug got arrested after threatening to shoot a cop and got slapped with terrorist threats charges. As for Weezy’s feud with Baby, the heated beef got pretty serious the other day when a member of Birdman’s entourage threw a bottle of water on stage while Tunechi was performing. Wayne’s $51 million case against Cash Money is still pending.
