The motion picture soundtrack, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Music From & Inspired By, ensures that Wakanda lives on in perpetuity.
The soundtrack was recorded in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Lagos, Nigeria, and London, and features over 40 music artists from around the world. It was produced by film director Ryan Coogler, along with Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis, and Dave Jordan.
The soundtrack is led by Rihanna’s single “Lift Me Up,” an ode to late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa/Black Panther throughout the Marvel Studio Films. The song also marks Rihanna’s first musical appearance in nearly seven years.
The 19-track collection also includes Tems’ cover of “No Woman, No Cry,” Burna Boy’s “Alone,” and Stormzy’s “Interlude.” Future collaborates with OG DAYV on “Limoncello,” E-40 and Snow Tha Product collaborate on “La Vida,” and Tobe Nwigwe and Fat Nwigwe team up on “They Want It, But No.”

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Music From & Inspired By is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Black Panther: The Album, which was curated by Top Dawg Entertainment. The soundtrack debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and included the singles “All The Stars” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA, “King’s Dead” by Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake), and “Pray For Me” by The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar.
The sequel to the 2018 film Black Panther is titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In the aftermath of King T’Challa’s/Black Panther’s death, the people of Wakanda fight to protect their kingdom from a new threat, Namor of Talokan. The film will be released in theatres on November 11th.
