Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot Nigga” took off in a huge way last month, and it’s become such an anthem that it’s easy to forget the song is technically a freestyle over Lloyd Banks’ “Jackpot”.
Seeing as Bobby took a pretty DIY approach to putting the recording together, his new label, EPIC, has decided to properly master the track.
This leaves a few questions, does Lloyd Banks receive publishing from the record, did EPIC have to purchase the beat from him? Whatever the case was, we now have a full quality version of the song, which is a beautiful thing.
