Featuring Denzel Himself, “DON’T BEAT THE SWEET OUT OF MY BOY” is the latest song by London-based Turkish-Sri Lankan singer BODUR.
The lovely atmosphere was conceived by BODUR and producer Lapsung from a poem describing her younger brother’s maturation from adolescence to adulthood. On her upcoming three-song EP Z (Turkish for self), BODUR’s mysterious long-time buddy, rapper, and producer Denzel Himself contributes a potent verse that seamlessly integrates into BODUR’s sound.
She commented, “I didn’t think this would ever happen because Denzel is so selective about his collaborations. I’m glad he contributed to it since he’s a fantastic artist whose work I like much.
