Hackney-born super star Bree Runway releases her summer-ready single “HOT HOT.” It’s the latest release from the multi-faceted artist best known for her unique blend of musical genres and boldness in pushing the envelope for pop music and changing the narrative.
Featuring a replay of Busta Rhymes’ iconic 2005 hit “Touch It,” the track is an unapologetic statement of -self-confidence and trademark elegance complete with references to Rolex watches right down to Dior. It’s the perfect blend of catchy early 2000’s R&B alongside infectious pop vocals and comes off the back of an incredible year for the superstar in making.
In describing “HOT HOT,” Bree says, “I feel like this is the song everyone needs to hear as it gets hotter and the world eases up. This pandemic hasn’t been easy on the brain, and with being indoors wearing joggers 24/7, it’s been hard to feel like a hottie, so I’m hoping this track will help! Typically for me, it’s about reaffirming your power and believing in yourself cause ‘you can never do it like a Brenda.’ I want my fans to never feel afraid to hype themselves up, they’re the shit and they don’t need to wait for anybody to tell’em they are!”
The accompanying video is yet another strikingly bold visual from Bree. A playful nod to the comical ‘00’s Busta Rhymes videos, it’s a brightly coloured, car-wash extravaganza complete with animation and energetic, eye popping moves.
