The renowned Croydon rapper BZ has released a new single and video this week titled “Trust Issues.”
His typical bouncy lines are present over Eyes Adoasi and GG’s silky production, which is evocative of early 2000s American rap songs. Lyrically, he reveals himself completely as he tells the narrative of the woman who has meant the most to him. The song’s sincere and open lyrics help it strike a personal chord with its audience.
The accompanied video is set in a 1980s British cafe, with BZ’s character becoming infatuated with the lady behind the counter and a playful back and forth love story unfolds.
