The West London-based artist who has amassed many viral social media moments in recent weeks makes a heady introduction with “Cash Is King,” which sets the tone for an enticing debut. The rapper, who is a visionary, drops his bars over a baile funk–influenced drill beat, which plays to his strengths.
Chaz’s songwriting draws on his daily experiences to explore grief and intimate occurrences, yet his innate abilities come through to blend the emotion in his composed demeanour.
Chaz is no stranger to the spotlight; he played “Hunter Owen” in the British soap opera EastEnders. But, despite his acting experience, music has always been his true passion.
