Ches Barrow has returned with the massive hit “Wild” in the wake of the release of her debut EP, “Girl Who Ruled The World.” The gifted songwriter created the song after receiving an offer to perform in a significant luxury cosmetics TV ad for her company, Ches Editions, that will air on ITVBe.
Ches stated the following while discussing the song “Wild”: “I of course composed it with the style and mood of the commercial in mind; anticipating a fashion-runway edge with the models doing their thing and a low-key “luxury beauty” depth. But it also completely organically carries over into my evolving artistic and musical approach.
The phrase “I shake my hair” in the song’s lyrics refers to The Ultimate Oil for Hair, which is Ches Editions’ “hero product.” In contrast to its rivals, the product and brand are all about “clean luxury beauty” and include only 100% natural components. This boldness is encapsulated in the song.
The music, which was produced by Ches, mixed by Grammy and Emmy Award-winning Carl Glanville (U2, Jason Mraz, Joan Jett, Counting Crows), and masterminded by Chris Gehringer (Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne), unquestionably inspires self-assurance. Ches candidly sings about her hardships while displaying her smooth voice. She has previously gotten support from publications including Earmilk, Wordplay, and Fame Magazine.
