The long-awaited duet “How Does It Feel” by Chloe Bailey and Chris Brown is now here.
Fans have been vocal in their disapproval of Chloe’s decision to collaborate with Chris Brown, who has a history of abuse, and the song has been in the headlines ever since it was unveiled. Chris addressed the criticism he and Chloe Bailey have gotten since announcing their collaboration on the new song by posting a series of Instagram Stories on Friday. Using an all-text Instagram Story, he said, “If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old, then kiss my whole complete a-.” He was alluding to the time he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February of 2009.
But Chris has been very supportive of Chloe, writing in her comments section, “@chloebailey you are a beautiful soul… TAKE OVER THE WORLD SHAWTY and DONT LOOK BACK🙏🏽! YOU ARE A QUEEN! DONT LET NOBODY TELL YOU NO DIFFERENT! You followed your dreams and now the universe is fulfilling that manifestation.”
Today, the song was released, and judging on the sample, it seems to have been taken from Usher and Jadakiss’s legendary tune “Throwback” from his album Confessions. Pre-listening is allowed below.
Chloe’s first album, In Pieces, is set for release on March 31. The song “How Does it Feel” was taken from the album.
