Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Hit-And-Run Charge, Must Turn Himself In

Chris Brown’s situation doesn’t seem to be looking up any time soon. The r’n’b singer was recently involved in a fender bender, and the woman he hit originally claimed that Brown didn’t provide the proper insurance information or a driver’s license, bringing the small accident up to a hit-and-run charge.

Although the other driver isn’t looking to press charges, the L.A. City attorney is, and has. TMZ reports that Brown will be arrested for the hit-and-run, which most recently resulted in his probation being revoked.

According to TMZ, Brown has already entered a not guilty plea to the charge. However, because he wasn’t arrested on the day of the incident, Brown will have to turn himself in, by heading to the police station and getting booked. He has until August 6th to do so.

The possible probation violation, which is related to the Rihanna beating case, still needs to be settled separately, when the singer appears at his scheduled court date in August.

The remaining charges from the car accident, driving without a valid license and proof of insurance, have been dismissed.
