Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Ciara celebrates the season of love with her latest single “Greatest Love.”
Along with the old school-inspired R&B jam, Ciara has debuted the sultry video, directed by Sasha Samsonovo (Pink, Teyana Taylor). Basked under red lights, Russell Wilson’s wife sings about her one true love.
“I would do anything, believe / I’ll die for you,” she sings. “I should have known when you took my son as your own … Now it’s me and you against the entire world.”
Ciara dedicated the song to her husband. “‘Greatest Love’ is an ode to that 1 person in your life you can’t live without,” she said. “The person you’d do anything for, and you know they’ll do anything for you. Your ride or die.”
The song is the latest release from Ciara following “Dose,” the Tekno Miles-assisted “Freak Me,” and the viral dance sensation “Level Up.”
Ciara is now readying a new album, her first since 2015’s Jackie, on her own label Beauty Marks Entertainment. “This journey has been amazing and I’ve had the time of my life releasing my music under my own label imprint,” she said. “No dream is truly too big! I’m excited for the journey ahead.”
